The autumn foliage was full of intense colour yesterday along the Llangollen Canal, between the Pontcysyllte Acqueduct and Llangollen Wharf. It is a few years since I've been to the acqueduct - I think the last time was when I was working in Rights of Way and a footpath to the west of the acqueduct had slipped. The photo above is from the towpath on the acqueduct.
After about a mile and a half, the rain really started, so there were fewer chances to take photos. The towpath was already very boggy in places. Lunch in Llangollen was very welcome!
Over the weekend, the new workroom has been a temporary guest room, feeling a bit like a small Japanese apartment with futons. Takenoko and Fluff tested them out for comfort.
One half of the shelving is in place and things are back on the shelves too. Just have to do the other half now...
