Arrows?



These are the yabane (arrow feather) borders for the golden brown taupe sampler quilt, pieced from striped tsumugi cotton cut on the bias. I think I will add a very simple corner square, just a triangle square with the stripes also on the bias, the inner triangle going in the crossways direction to the stripe on the last arrows, and the stripes on the other running at right angles, using the same stripes as the arrow flights. Any better suggestions?

Thanks! It was worth the effort, although I'm a bit sick of trying to make all those bias seam allowances stay pressed on one side without rucking over a little. This will need a very thorough press before basting.
