Forthcoming shows in Scotland and England

I'm back down to Wales tomorrow, using Brymbo as my base for two talks, one on Saturday near Winchester and the second on Tuesday in Shrewsbury, then back up to Kettins to get ready for World Textile Day near Stirling next Saturday. Yes, we are bringing the WTD format to Scotland for the first time.  It has been running for five years or so in mid Wales in March and the ideal venue was finally located at Bridge of Allan near Stirling, a nice central location. For more details, click this link.

The following weekend, from Friday to Sunday, is the National Quilt Championships at Sandown Park, Esher, Surrey.  I will be demonstrating sashiko and teaching the same one hour workshop we did at the Spring Quilt Festival in Edinburgh in February. I've entered a few quilts, including 'I can only do so much pink in one go' for the 'In the Pink' charity challenge. Here it is shown before it was quilted.  It's inspired by a quilt in the V & A's collection. Ferret has free hand longarm machine quilted it for me, but you'll have to wait until the show to see the completed piece.  I'm also showing the Japanese Taupe sampler again, and two other quilts - this one (I've nearly finished the hand quilting now) and a new piece for the Batik Beauties challenge. So I'm busy as usual...

Hello,
hoping to visit the show at Sandown. Also hoping to to see your quilts in the flesh and attend one of your workshops there (time permitting)!
