Sakiori workshop at Edinburgh Patchwork today

Here's a few photos of the blocks in progress at the workshop today.  The four quilters had very different fabric selections, so there was a lot of different looks to the finished blocks, which came out very well.  We had a surprise visitor at lunchtime when quilter/author Linda Seward dropped in to the shop and we persuaded her to stay for lunch.  It was a very enjoyable quilty day all round.

Glyn was busy too - once the rain stopped, he worked in the gale to put the last shingles onto the back of the summerhouse.  Each one had to be cut and thinned down for a perfect fit up to the eaves trim.

"Fiddly but worth it!"
