Photo as promised! Members of Region 10 of the Quilters' Guild of the British Isles produced some lovely hitomezashi (one stitch sashiko) samples on our day in Nottingham. The dark blue squares measure 4in (10cm). Patterns included komezashi (rice stitch), juujizashi ("10" cross stitch), kakinohanazashi (persimmon flower stitch) and hanabishizashi (flower diamond stitch). Well done everyone!
