Tama kitty is here!

Tama, the latest maneki neko cat, is finished and on his way to Euro Japan Links Limited, who will be launching this design as a kit on Thursday at the Knitting and Stitching Show, Alexandra Palace, London. I used sashiko for the kitty with tsumugi and shijira cotton for the patchwork. He will also be available by mail order, though it might be a few weeks before he appears on their website. Takenoko shows how he inspired the pose... Unfortunately he looks rather grumpy! Maybe I should have given him a **prawn** (shhh!) - he will do the beckoning pose for that.
