Fish & Chips at Sandown Park


"Fish & Chips" won a Judge's Merit at the National Quilting Championships at Sandown Park today. Not bad for a quilt that was only pieces of fabric Wednesday of last week!

Re Lowcocks, their pop was sold as far west as Stockton-on-Tees - Doreen's Fish Bar behind St Peter's Church to be exact, although Guy remembers it from Saltburn (his family ran the Back Alex pub). The amazingly heavy bottles aren't easily forgotten...
