More yukata sample pieces coming...

I tracked down another nice batch of yukata sample pieces. Hopefully they will be here by the end of next month. Once again, most of them will be one-off pieces. If you haven't tried patchwork with yukata fabrics before, they are 100% cotton with a nice, crisp, starched handle, and they soften up beautifully. The larger patterns are particularly useful if you want to make quilts like those in Kitty Pippen's book "Quilting with Japanese Fabrics" - nice for the patchwork blocks in my "Japanese Quilt Blocks to Mix and Match" too!

As well as the more traditional floral and butterfly motifs, this batch has plenty of modern designs and some cute animal prints too - see the cat pattern in the last picture (it is also on pink).

I will have these for sale at shows, talks & workshops, but as they are all individual pieces, I won't be able to list them on the fabric blog - I will put some yukata yardage on there soon.
