The rain overnight made the roads clear enough to go to Willaston for Mersey Morris Men's Revels today. There was still ice on our ungritted road of course, so leaving the village required slow driving, but Willaston was fine - sunny and not as cold as last year. An early morning weather report from a friend closer to the village than us confirmed it as a Good Idea.
Mockbeggar (Northwest morris) also danced several times.
There was a Mummers' Play of course!
The morning finished with Molly dancing by some of Mersey's team.
Much more fun than battling the Boxing Day sales...
