Quiltfest on Valentine's Day (and Saturday!)

I will be at Quiltfest's Trading Day on Sunday (see the Quiltfest link in the menu on the right) and also stewarding/demoing some hand applique at the Museum gallery on the Saturday.

Trading day will be a bit different this year. Being in a smaller venue with not such easy access for the traders has meant that regulars like Kaleidoscope aren't coming this year. However, myself, Dot Sherlock's Quilter's Needs and Ario are all trading day regulars, plus Barbara Howell who usually has a small selection of her lovely hand dyed threads, fabrics and embellishment goodies on sale in the quilt gallery but will have much more to choose from on Sunday. Threads of Ruthin and Maryke Phillips will be there too, so expect a feast of colours in threads, fabrics & embellishments! In fact, pretty much everything you could need should you feel inspired by the techniques in many of the Quiltfest exhibits.

Here's a tiny fraction of the goodies I'll have available - vintage kimono and kimono fabrics -
