Prague Patchwork Meeting
I got home at 2 a.m., so for now, just a few photos to give an impression of the event and the workshop - more later! The photo above shows the workshop participants on Friday afternoon. We were making sashiko furoshiki designs.
These are just a few photos from the exhibition, the third and fourth photo taken just before the exhibition opened to the public at 9.30 a.m.
I had a wonderful weekend. The show was very professional, hard to believe it is staged by volunteers from the Bohemia Patchwork Club (the national quilt guild of the Czech Republic) and this is only the fourth year of the show. It is a credit to their enthusiasm and hard work.
The quilts were also fascinating and refreshing, with about a 50/50 split between art quilts and more traditionally inspired quilts.
More pictures soon, but for now, here is one of my favourite quilts in the show, "Alley of Freshness" by Tatiana Bogachuk.

Nice to hear these words! Thank you very much. I am really glad that you enjoyed our Czech exhibition. Unfortunately I was in another course at the same time on Friday so I hope there will be chance to meet you next time.
