Yes, he went downhill very quickly at the end. He woke me up at 12.30 on Thursday morning for cuddles (not unusual!) and was OK Thursday night but had a very bad night on Friday, difficult breathing and getting distressed, so Guy had to take him to the vet on Saturday.

The vet asked if we wanted him put down on Wendesday when he was diagnosed, but Takenoko was still quite lively and chatting away (meowing & calling out as soon as he heard our voices at the vets) so we couldn't do it then.; 22 November 2010 at 10:09
