Mike Hannan has had a bit more time than Margaret (see previous post) to finish his 'Japanese Circles and Squares' quilt, started at the workshop at Alylesford last November. Mike isn't hard to spot in that link, as he was the only man in the workshop (why aren't more men quilting?) Here's the bold quilt he made. Fantastic fabric choices - click the image to zoom in and see details of the prints. I like the brilliant lime greens combined with darker fabrics, especially the dark brown dots, the netural greys and the red accents in several prints. Mike wrote, 'I’m very pleased with the result' - me too. Thanks for the photo!
