Big day off last Tuesday - now with extra photos

We had an afternoon off last Tuesday, for a trip to the registry office in Coupar Angus.  As it is scheduled to close at New Year, we decided to try to be the last couple married so we'd be the last entry on the marriage register.  Turns out the office isn't part of the council, but provided the registrar's service for them - I think it was the last one operating like that. We are both members of the local history association, so it was extra appropriate to get married there.

My silk coat is an upated take on an uchikake, made from a bolt of haori silk, unlined and much shorter - we didn't know if we'd be having to go in in snow and I needed to be able to manage getting into the 4x4 in it too. Oops, it ended up crossed the wrong way in some photos.

Glyn was totally made up because the registrar let him have the sign plate from the office door!  Our rings are kingfisher blue titanium.

Thanks to Sue & Colin for the extra photos!
