Denman Kannon - finished

There are still some tacking lines left in the centre part - I might add a tiny bit more "invisible" hand quilting on the robe, if there's time.

Thank you to Anette, Bet & Caroline at Gresford Craft Group tonight, who helped me get the tacking out of the border of my other piece, "Lulea Blockhus" (Lulea Log Cabin - sorry, can't do the o accent easily on blogger!) The centre quilting is almost finished and I will bind it tomorrow. At 93in x 69in, it is the biggest quilt I've made for a while.

She's beautiful Susan. When/where will we get a chance to see her in real life? I'd love to see her for real.

Thanks! Both quilts are now on their way to the Festival of Quilts collection depot, so you can see them there (hope they don't loose them at the depot...) They are also both going to the Great Northern Quilt Show and I might enter the Denman Kannon for next year's Quilts UK. Otherwise, I'll have it on display as much as possible when I'm demoing over the next few years, so there will be plenty of chances to see it.
