You've got to see this - the Super Strips workshop quilt top with extra triangle sections, measuring an impressive 103 inches square!
Margaret Evans, a member of Gresford Craft Group, continued adding to her original workshop piece. She has used three strip cut rolls, which I think were the Fabric Freedom batik ones. If that's right, there may have been up to 48 strips in each roll too.
She is planning to have it long arm quilted. It would be great if she could get it done for Gresford Craft Group's exhibition in the third week in June. We will have to see if it can be done by then. Anyway, it is gorgeous.
