Quilts UK news
Just found out I won the Hand Quilting award for "The Denman Kannon". I am amazed and thrilled to win - I think this is the first time it has gone to a sashiko quilt. When I went round to have a look at the quilt, to see if it was hanging OK, I saw it also had a Judges Merit rosette. No idea what else has won what yet, as we had just finished setting up in the Marquee and needed to get away to our digs. Will try to report more tomorrow.

Wonderful, Susan. Many many congratulations for a fantastic and moving piece of work, and of course for the awards. Where else will we be able to see it this year?
