Names in books

Every so often, I spot a classic quilting book that I haven't got and feel I should have. Often it is out of print. Jinny Beyer's "The Quilter's Album of Blocks and Borders" was somehow missing from my bookshelf and I tracked down a copy on eBay, onsale in the USA. It has just arrived.

I can't help being curious about the names in second hand books - this one has three already! Cynthia Wentworth looks like she was the original owner and has crossed out her original surname and replaced it with "Sanford". The next owner's name is Janet Best. I think I'll have to add mine to the list!
