Quiltfest Trading Day - this Sunday

Today's main job is packing the car for Quiltfest's Trading Day on Sunday. The new books have arrived, along with copies of 'Compendium of Quilting Techniques' and 'Japanese Quilt Blocks to Mix and Match', so I'll have those. There will be gorgeous Japanese fabrics including silks, cottons, wools and blends, and a rail of inexpensive kimono and other Japanese garments, to wear or remake - whatever you like!

As you can see from the link above, the traders aren't only of interest to quilters, as there are several of us who sell ethnic and exotic textiles while dyes, paint, thread and embellishment specialists are also attending. If quilting fabric is your thing, we have a number of very good quilt shops with their latest fabrics and, if you need a bit of inspiration, there's Kaleidoscope books too.

It will be the last day of the Made in Wales exhibition and the other exhibitions on the Quiltfest Trail will be open too. So if you can only fit in one day visiting Quiltfest this year, make it Sunday!
