A day out in Birmingham

We went to Birmingham on the train today, for Guy's birthday day out. It has become a bit of a tradition in the last few years. First, we have a drink at The Crown, near New Street Station.

I'm basing the ground floor of my dollshouse pub on The Crown's Edwardian bar.

A panoramic sequence of the bar -

Lunch has to be at the China Court, in Birmingham's Chinatown, for their excellent dim sum dumplings and won ton soup -

The German Christmas Market is open now -

This year's Christmas lights are blue and white - stunning.

Susan, I really enjoyed looking at this blog. I love the inside of the pub and know it's going to be just gorgeous in your pub dollhouse. I liked the Choco King too, that was so cute looking. I hope one day to make it to England!
