Jersey & workshop photos

The photo above shows a view of Sark with Gurnsey beyond, from the seacat.

This composite photo is made from several I took coming into St Helier, as we passed Elizabeth Castle.

Today's workshop with Ceasarea Quilters was the Sashiko Furoshiki. Everyone learned how to make a template for a sashiko fan, how to mark and stitch it, how to mark & stitch shippo and fundo as a corner pattern and how to mark a kamon crest.

They gave me one of their collectible pink pencils as a souvenir! Tomorrow we are back together for the Super Strips Quilt Top.

Many thanks to Sarah for organising such a lovely venue for the workshops!
