It turned out there were a few photos of part of my stand, where it was the backdrop to bag photos.
I took very few quilt photos and am looking forward to a virtual version of the show from friends photos later on - there just wasn't time to go looking around.
This is one quilt that really caught my attention, not in the competition, but in Marina Mamonova's own gallery. I love the design. I haven't been able to find a website for her work (the one on the quilt labels doesn't seem to have quilt pictures), so if anyone knows, please tell me. Her name seemed familiar, from one of Ferret's blogposts and an earlier quilt I liked at FoQ in 2006 (?). EDIT - спасибо -Thank you for this link to some more of Marina's works (in Russian)! This piece in the 3-D section also caught my attention, for its steampunk qualities - entry no. 974 (I will have to look up the maker when I find my show catalogue).
It seems to be a good resting place for a life' worth or two. I thought it was very influenced by the work of Rozanne Hawksley, who was featured at the Knitting and Stitching show a couple of years ago.

'Russia, made of Lace' absolutely stopped me in my tracks. It is so beautiful and has a really special feeling about it, don't you agree?
Absolutely! Lace is a great source of inspiration, and I've never seen it in quilts before.
