Walls painted, blinds up, lights in and new table installed. Haven't decided yet whether to have the table parallel to the window (original plan & better for natural daylight) or at right angles to the window (tucks in neatly against wall and makes room feel bigger). Both positions work fine with the lighting units. I will sleep on it and see how the room looks in daylight tomorrow morning.

From the look of your room you would have your back to the door if you put the table against the wall, I for one couldn't cope with that at all. I'd go for under the window - something to gaze at too.
