I have some projects in these two books, which will be published in the autumn.
This bag, inspired by Ainu embroidery, is in the embroidery book - although is includes applique.
My sashiko table runner, which technically is really embroidery, is in the patchwork and quilting book! But I guess most people associate sashiko with quilting.
This is a detail of my third project - a boro bag. I really enjoyed making this.
Think I'll take the boro and the Ainu bags as my shopping bags for FoQ next week! I'm going as a visitor on Saturday and Sunday next week.
